Here's a quote from Obama. It took me this long to blog about it because I was having trouble finding just the right Google search to yield a reliable source for the quote.
"When was the last time that we saw a bill of this magnitude move out with no earmarks in it? Not one."
So this is a bill with earmarks just like the long line of other bills we've seen coming out of Washington full of earmarks?
Didn't you promise us full disclosure of earmarks? This vague surrendering to the fact of them doesn't count.
Is this the change we were supposed to believe in?
